Tenure Track Faculty Position
Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
WPI is seeking applications for a tenure-track assistant or associate
professor position in the Department of Civil and Environmental
Engineering. Candidates must have a Ph.D. or terminal doctoral
degree. A PE license or the ability to obtain one is desirable. The
department is seeking an individual with a strong academic background
and research interests that will support programs in Construction
Engineering and Management, Structural Engineering, and Civil
Engineering Materials. Applicants are expected to demonstrate
commitment to both funded research and to high quality undergraduate
and graduate teaching. The successful candidate is expected to
establish an active funded research program. Multi-disciplinary
research within the university is highly encouraged. Research
interests in the areas of information technology, sustainability/green
engineering, smart materials, and/or post-disaster engineering and
management are highly desirable.
